WHAT: The Utah Transit Authority and Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum are hosting a public ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of a brand-new exhibit, educating children on how to ride public transit and future career opportunities. The new exhibit features a UTA bus replica with real components from decommissioned UTA buses, including authentic seats, a driver’s seat and steering wheel, dashboard controls and a working stop-request mechanism. The event is open to media and the public with museum ticket.
